MasTec Advanced Technologies is currently seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to provide high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation services to residential (and occasionally commercial) customers. Technicians will perform installations, repairs, splicing, and integrations to existing fiber optic infrastructure. Pay: $22 - $24 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.
• Generate accurate reports on work completed and document network configurations.
• Ensure superior customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols in a safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Experience in fiber optic installation and troubleshooting is a plus but not required; paid training provided.
• A valid driver’s license
