Vestas is offering a $2,500 USD / $3,300 CAD sign-on bonus for the Wind Turbine Technician III position. This role provides an exciting opportunity to advance your career in the renewable energy industry, offering hands-on work with wind turbines, as well as the chance to mentor lower-level technicians.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on assigned wind turbines with minimal to no supervision.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to lower-level technicians.
• Work at heights (up to 250 feet) and in confined spaces.
• Use complex power tools, hydraulic rams, and diagnostic equipment.
• Develop and implement action plans with minimal direction.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers.
• Ensure safety and quality in all work activities and recommend improvements.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of technical wind experience.
• Proficiency with complex power tools, hydraulic rams, inductive heaters, and advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., Fluke meters, VOB data collection).
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Driver’s License and ability to obtain a passport 

Required Education

• A 3-year technical associate degree or equivalent.
