Join Comcast as a Residential Install Technician.This trainee role provides hands-on experience in broadband installation and troubleshooting, with progressive skill-building and decreasing supervision over time. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of required training, certifications, and safety protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform broadband installations and service changes following company procedures, codes, and safety standards.

• Update customer accounts to ensure accurate service documentation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues using sound judgment and decision-making.

• Educate customers on Comcast products and services to enhance their experience.

• Operate installation tools and equipment, including climbing poles, ladders, and using bucket trucks.

• Handle wires, fasteners, and other tools; lift loads of 70+ lbs.; work in confined spaces like attics and crawlspaces.

• Drive a company vehicle responsibly while working and traveling in various weather conditions.

• Perform regular maintenance checks, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure equipment functionality.

• Maintain consistent attendance and be available for night, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as overtime as necessary.

• Complete all necessary training and adhere to company expectations and safety protocols.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in technical or customer service roles.

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

• Work involves exposure to moderate noise levels, animals, construction areas, and inclement weather.

• Tasks include standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working near electrical lines.

• Job requires physical dexterity, close and peripheral vision, and ability to manipulate small tools.

• Work schedule may involve 10-hour shifts, four days per week, and variable hours.

Pay

• Base Pay: $18.20/hour

• Eligibility for bonuses and/or commission depending on role and performance.
