Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This position offers a starting pay of $19 per hour or higher depending on experience. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs

• Process orders via order management system

• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures

• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up

• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards

• Restock and place merchandise in respective areas

• Maintain a safe working environment including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

• May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities

Required Experience

• 1–3 years experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products is preferred

• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise

• General math skills for cash handling

• Excellent decision-making and communication skills

• An ability to learn is essential

Required Education

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Valid state-issued driver's license required

Work Environment

• Must maintain a safe working environment and utilize PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

• Pre-employment drug and background screening required
