Job Description & Requirements
This position will be based in Green Bay, WI. It requires solution technology skills to independently service and/or train on business support offerings. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, networking, maintaining products, training customers, and managing customer relationships. Extensive travel is required for this role, including potential overnight stays.
Primary Responsibilities
Technical
- Perform product specialist solution services, including configuring, installing, troubleshooting, networking, maintaining, and training.
- Conduct product repair, customer training, and engage in problem-solving for method improvement.
- Proactively seek opportunities to increase utilization of Ricoh products and services.
- Assemble, adjust, and maintain products according to specifications and documentation.
- Act as a resource for others when higher-level expertise is required.
Customer Services
- Maintain productive and professional relationships with customers and Ricoh personnel.
- Promote Ricoh's support functions, anticipating and managing customer needs.
Manage Workload
- Manage time and schedule independently.
- Execute required workload management and call handling procedures.
- Perform customer training, equipment observation, and solution presentations.
Administrative
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and timely, including maintaining logs, processes, and reports.
- Record time and activity properly through the tracking system.
- Maintain a "car stock" and/or customer on-site inventory as necessary.
Results
- Achieve productivity levels according to workload and experience.
- Participate in Ricoh's Extra Value program and bill accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Valid state driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage.
- High school diploma, with additional experience in computers, electronics, mechanics, basic networks, and printing software desired.
- Completion of required technology training and certification.
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions
- Extensive daily travel between customer locations, including possible travel by foot.
- Potential for occasional overnight travel.
- Physical demands include lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds and moving items up to 400 pounds.
- Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required for servicing equipment at various heights.
- Requires dexterity and basic skills, including the use of hand tools, calculators, and computers.
- Shift work, overtime, on-call availability, and stress related to deadlines and customer expectations may occur.
