Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Truck Driver! This position offers a $3000 Signing Bonus. The role involves delivering and distributing building products to assigned customers while ensuring the safe transportation of materials. The annual salary range for this position is $37,900 to $73,700 USD.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver and distribute building products to assigned customers.
• Ensure safe loading, handling, and transportation of materials and heavy cargo.
• Apply commercial driving regulations and maneuver the vehicle in difficult situations.
• Complete necessary paperwork and relay customer inquiries or complaints to a supervisor.
• Inspect truck for any defects or issues before and after trips, submitting reports on truck condition.
• Maintain the vehicle in safe operating condition, including fuel, oil, and water checks.
• Keep logs and records according to D.O.T. regulations.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, and building loads as needed.
• Secure cargo for transit and maintain a clean truck.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• At least two (2) years of truck driving experience.
• Must have working knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and meet Boise Cascade driver qualifications.
• Must be able to perform duties in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building products and forklift experience is a plus.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.
