Job Description & Requirements

The CDL B Delivery Representative at AmeriGas will play a crucial role in delivering propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This position offers an hourly pay rate starting at $32.06, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses or commissions on completed sales. AmeriGas also offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, career advancement opportunities, and various benefits such as 17 PTO days, 7 paid holidays, medical coverage, and 401k with company match.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
  • Fill residential and commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
  • Adhere to federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
  • Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Work 8 to 12-hour shifts, including weekends, on-call, and overtime, depending on fluctuating needs

Required Experience:

  • Valid Class A or B CDL
  • Willingness to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements (reimbursements provided)
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check

Work Environment:

  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
