Comcast is seeking an Entry-Level Broadband Technician responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting. This trainee position involves developing skills for competent task performance, progressing with increased proficiency and decreasing supervision. Employment is contingent upon completing required training, certifications, and safety requirements. Compensation is $18.20/hr plus Quarterly Bonuses & Paid Training. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package effective Day 1, including health, dental, vision coverage, highly discounted cable services, 21 paid days off, and 8 company-observed holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service modifications while following company procedures and safety regulations.
• Update customer accounts to ensure accurate service records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Educate customers on products and services.
• Work independently to complete tasks while ensuring excellent customer service.
• Use active listening and empathy to enhance customer interactions.
• Utilize tools and perform work at heights (climbing poles, ladders, and bucket trucks from 18-26 feet).
• Lift and carry loads of 70 lbs. or more and work in confined spaces.
• Operate within the manufacturer’s weight capacity for all equipment.
• Maintain company vehicle and operate safely while traveling in various weather conditions.
• Work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Perform duties in moderate noise levels, around animals, and in construction areas.
• Complete company-provided training in safety, installations, and related areas.

Required Experience

• 0-2 years of related work experience.

Required Education

• High School Diploma / GED.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moderate noise levels, confined spaces, construction areas, and outdoor conditions.
• Physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, and working at heights.
