Job Description & Requirements
At MasTec Advanced Technologies, your smile and technical expertise are in demand. In this role, you won’t just provide and install the most advanced home technologies – from satellite dishes to home security and smart home automation – you’ll be the technician customers trust.
Pay: Up to $22 an hour or more
Primary Responsibilities
Install and maintain satellite dishes and receivers for a leading partner in the satellite industry
Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure a seamless, enjoyable customer experience
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service
Work in both indoor and outdoor environments at customer residences and commercial buildings
Follow all safety guidelines during installation and service
Recommend products and solutions to meet customer needs
Required Experience
Experience or motivation to learn and master new technologies
Ability to multitask and work independently
Customer service-oriented mindset
Valid driver’s license required
Work Environment
Work may be performed in unheated or non-air-conditioned environments
Indoor and outdoor tasks regardless of weather conditions
Requires kneeling, crawling, bending, and working in uncomfortable positions
Essential to climb ladders (28-36 feet) and lift 60-80 pounds
Must meet manufacturer’s safety requirements (body weight + 25 lbs of tools/equipment must not exceed 375 pounds)
Must maintain strict adherence to safety protocols
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Must pass pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR check
