Traveling position based in and around your geographical region. We are hiring throughout the Mid West US and Canada, with potential travel to areas including MO, KS, WI, IL, IA, IN, OH, OK, NE, SD, ND, and Canada. This department is seeking experienced technicians to perform major repairs and component changeouts on various O&M platforms. Crane calling experience is required.
Pay Range: $25.00 to $30.00+ per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform major corrective repairs on a variety of wind turbine platforms/brands.
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, including main component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to weather elements.
• Travel up to 90% per year, primarily within your regional area, with possible travel to other sites across the US and Canada.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years of extensive repair experience on O&M turbine models/platforms.
• Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair work.
• Experience with major component replacements in the wind industry.
• Crane calling experience.
