The Delivery & Set-Up Driver is responsible for the efficient and professional pick-up, relocation, and delivery of office equipment. This role may also involve installation, networking, and providing basic customer training on delivered devices. Professionalism and adherence to safety and federal DOT standards are essential in this role.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately deliver equipment to designated locations.

• Maintain DOT-compliant logbooks (electronic or manual).

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Perform simultaneous pick-up of products during deliveries.

• Execute basic connected installations, including IP setups, print driver downloads, hard drive removals, and address book management.

• Provide basic customer training on devices.

• Participate in safety programs and pre-call customers as necessary.

• Maintain expected productivity and quality standards.

• Relay feedback to service and process teams.

• Use phone for capturing electronic customer signatures.

• Ensure proper paperwork is signed and processed.

• Load and off-load trucks and assist in training new drivers when applicable.

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, stair climbers, and pallet jacks.

• Complete additional assigned duties.

Required Experience

• Minimum of two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.

• Successful completion of a road test.

• Experience with on-the-job technical training and customer service interaction.

• A safe driving record and history.

• Online technical training focused on networking and installation.

• Eligibility to drive a commercial vehicle according to FMCSR 

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

• Physical effort required to lift up to 100 pounds and move equipment up to 1,000 pounds.

• Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.

• Work in various environments: office, warehouse, truck/van.

• Exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.

• Frequent travel with potential overnight stays due to DOT regulations or peak periods.

• Risk of serious injury without adherence to proper procedures.

• Work requires independent decision-making and problem-solving.
