 A DAY IN THE LIFE 

In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component, or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Fowler, IN. You will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8 hours a day, with overtime available. You have available on-call as well. There is a long contract for this site with opportunity to grow and move up in our technician levels. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day. Travel in this role on average up to 10 % a year due to assisting other sites as business needs require. There are PLENTY of opportunities to grow with Vestas here!

 

MORE ABOUT YOU 

✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset  

✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks

✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination

✓ You will bring 2-3 years of experience in transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work; wind experience is a plus, as well as a wind certificate

Target Pay Range: 

$25.00 to $29+
