Wind Turbine Technician II at Midland Wind Farm in Kewanee, IL. This position involves performing maintenance and installation work on wind turbines with opportunities for mentorship.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and installation tasks on assigned wind turbines.
• Work under minimal supervision following defined schedules and safety protocols.
• Mentor entry-level technicians as needed.
• Work at heights up to 250 feet and in confined spaces.
• Operate intermediate level power tools and interpret technical drawings.
• Maintain safety standards and contribute to improving work quality.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of technical wind industry experience OR 6 months with a wind technician program certificate OR 3 years in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, or heavy machinery experience.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in using intermediate power tools and basic computer operations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to communicate effectively.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment (if provided):

• Outdoor work environment in varying weather conditions.
• Work involves climbing, carrying tools, and moving parts.
