Boise Cascade Company is currently seeking an Assembler to join our team. As one of the largest producers of engineered wood products and plywood in North America, we are committed to investing in our associates with a comprehensive benefits package. Shift: Days, Monday through Friday.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the construction of custom doors and windows.
• Verify product and raw material specifications (lengths, angles).
• Set up machinery and equipment to required specifications.
• Transport raw materials and finished products to/from machinery, equipment, and storage areas.
• Load and unload inventory as necessary.
• Apply and understand basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• May manage production, quality, and order fulfillment performance, providing reports as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety programs and OSHA regulations.
• May train and oversee the work of others, ensuring specifications are met.
• Assist with product promotion and customer communication.
• Ensure effective inventory management, including raw materials and finished goods.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or two years of equivalent work experience.

• Must be able to understand and communicate safety and work-related instructions.

• Ability to adapt to warehouse routines, which may involve considerable physical exertion.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than three years of experience in a related role.
  • Technical certification or associate degree may be required.
