Job Description & Requirements

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
  • Process orders via the order management system.
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
  • Ensure merchandise is restocked and placed in respective areas.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements.
  • May perform driver duties and responsibilities as needed.

Pay Range 

  • $15.00 - $25.39

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of products is preferred.
  • General computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • General math skills to support cash accounting.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • An eagerness and ability to learn is essential.

Required Education

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
