AmeriGas, the nation’s largest propane distributor, is hiring safety-minded, customer-focused Service Technicians. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, 17 PTO days plus 7 paid holidays, and year-round medical coverage. Additional benefits include 401(k) with company match, propane discounts, and more. The pay for this role ranges from $30.00 to $31.00 depending on experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along designated service routes

• Repair existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers

• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers

• Perform Delivery Representative duties when needed, such as delivering bulk or canister propane

• Adhere to all safety policies and federal/state regulations

• Use required Personal Protective Equipment consistently

• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts based on operational needs

Required Experience

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements

• Current active Gas Fitters license

• Acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check

• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
