Job Description & Requirements

The Senior Sales Manager will lead and coordinate sales efforts for capital goods, focusing on developing and selling large-scale machine tools in collaboration with the sales and design teams. The role involves establishing and managing business relationships, identifying new sales leads, and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets. Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and coordinate sales efforts for capital goods.

  • Develop and sell customer-specific large-scale machine tools in close collaboration with the sales and design team.

  • Establish, maintain, and manage business relationships.

  • Identify and qualify new sales leads through networking, industry events, and research.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

  • Provide reports and maintain records in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.

Required Experience

  • Experience within the equipment manufacturing industry.

  • Confident demeanor with strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Additional foreign languages (German or Spanish) are an advantage.

  • High willingness to travel.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in (Industrial) Engineering, or a technical qualification with experience in sales.
