If you are certified with Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) from the Global Wind Organization (GWO), you are one step ahead in our recruitment process.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines with minimal supervision.
• Follow defined schedules, safety protocols, and verbal/written instructions.
• Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians when needed.
• Work at heights (up to 250 feet) and in confined spaces to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Handle tools, equipment, and parts while maintaining safety and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with co-workers and communicate effectively with customers.
• Continuously provide recommendations to improve safety and quality.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience or six (6) months of experience and a certificate of completion from a wind technician program.
• Alternatively, a minimum of three (3) years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite, or heavy machinery fields.
• Experience with intermediate-level power tools (e.g., hydraulic, power torque, diagnostic tools like Flukemeters).
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with internet-based programs, computer data interpretation, and schematic reading.
• You hold a valid driver’s license

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
