Comcast is seeking an Entry-Level Broadband Technician responsible for performing broadband installation and troubleshooting activities. This trainee position involves acquiring skills and knowledge for competent task performance, progressing with increasing proficiency and decreasing supervision. The role requires meeting training, certification, and safety requirements for continued employment. Compensation is $18.20/hr with Quarterly Bonuses & Paid Training. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform installations and changes of service while adhering to company procedures, safe work practices, and industry regulations.
• Update customer accounts to ensure accurate service records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Educate customers on products and services.
• Work independently to complete projects despite obstacles, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Use active listening and empathy to enhance customer interactions.
• Utilize tools, hand equipment, and perform work at heights, including climbing poles, ladders, and bucket trucks (18-26 feet).
• Handle and manipulate connectors, fasteners, and wiring while working with tools.
• Lift and carry loads of 70 lbs. or more, work in confined spaces like crawl spaces or attics, and operate near power lines.
• Work within the manufacturer’s weight capacity for equipment, including ladders and aerial lifts.
• Maintain company vehicle and operate safely while traveling in inclement weather.
• Work may include weekends, 10-hour shifts, overtime, evenings, and holidays.
• Perform duties in environments with moderate noise levels, animals, construction sites, and public areas.
• Complete company-provided training in safety, installations, and other necessary areas.
• Ensure punctuality and attendance while adhering to variable work schedules.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• 0-2 years of related work experience.

Required Education

• High School Diploma / GED.

Work Environment

• Work may require exposure to moderate noise levels, confined spaces, construction areas, and outdoor conditions.
• Requires physical activity, including lifting heavy loads and working at heights.
