Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to take on a critical role within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing GitLab and Artifactory, overseeing RBAC, provisioning different team workspaces, including Jira, Entra Groups, Resource Groups, Namespaces, quotas and other DevOps-related tasks. Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in providing GitOps mentorship to the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about DevOps and wants to make a significant impact on our company's success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage GitLab and Artifactory for version control and artifact storage
  • Oversee Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure security and compliance
  • Provision and manage squads and namespaces within our infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve DevOps objectives
  • Ensure and promote compliance with industry regulations and standards (FR/NFR)
  • Provide mentorship and guidance internally and externally to other squads on GitOps best practices and methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role
  • Proven track record of success in managing GitLab and Artifactory at scale.
  • Experience with FluxCD, Kubernetes, including RBAC, External Secret Operator and GitOps principles
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and Go programming languages
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring others in the field of GitOps
