At MasTec Advanced Technologies, we are looking for home installation service technicians to join our team through our partnership with Best Buy. This role offers competitive pay with performance-based compensation and incentives. The pay rate is up to $22 an hour or more. You’ll have opportunities for paid training, benefits, and growth within the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and set up advanced home technologies including TV mounts, sound bars, speakers, smart home products (door locks, smart speakers, video doorbells, thermostats).
• Provide expert customer service by recommending the best technologies to meet customers’ needs.
• Perform multi-phase installations and ensure everything is set up correctly from the start.
• Operate with high levels of independence and responsibility while maintaining a safety-first attitude.
• Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and work van provided.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in home technology installation is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform all phases of installation, including mounting equipment, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Experience with customer service and the ability to recommend and advise customers on technology solutions is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Work Environment:

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in various conditions, which may include environments that are not heated or air-conditioned.
• Physical tasks may include lifting 60-80 pounds, climbing ladders (up to 36 feet), and working in uncomfortable positions such as kneeling or crawling.
• Work may require weekends or evenings depending on the schedule.
