The Wind Turbine Technician position at Vestas is a full-time role. The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus. In this role, you will perform service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on wind turbines, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled service and fault analysis/troubleshooting on wind turbines.
• Conduct work on main turbine components or blades.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, with exposure to weather elements.
• Collaborate with a team, typically working in pairs or small groups, to complete tasks.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to assist at other sites as business needs require.
• Operate with a safety-focused mindset, identifying solutions through troubleshooting and process elimination.

Required Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work.
• Wind energy experience is a plus, as well as possession of a wind certificate.

Work Environment

• Work will be conducted in various weather conditions, and requires working at heights and in confined spaces.
