Responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting activities for voice, video, and data services. This entry-level role involves completing field assessments, meeting company standards, and obtaining necessary certifications for role advancement. Base pay: $18.20 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform installations and changes of service while following company procedures, NEC/NESC requirements, and local ordinances.

• Troubleshoot drop lines and home networks using coaxial cable, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and MoCA.

• Complete accurate recordkeeping for customer accounts.

• Evaluate service quality and perform adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

• Install and troubleshoot Wi-Fi, including network design and interference management.

• Educate customers on products, services, equipment, and company policies.

• Maintain and stock vehicle and report repairs or incidents as needed.

• Reconcile issued customer premise equipment (CPE) with the warehouse.

• Operate and maintain tools, meters, ladders, and other equipment.

• Use digital tools for work order management and diagnostics.

• Comply with local licensing or background check requirements.

• Perform work from poles, roofs, ladders, and bucket trucks, lifting up to 70 lbs and working in confined or elevated spaces.

• Drive a company vehicle safely and responsibly.

• Maintain regular, punctual attendance and flexibility for weekends, evenings, holidays, and possible 10-hour shifts.

• Complete required training and pass certification tests within set timeframes.

• Handle additional duties as assigned.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Work Environment

• Exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, and precipitation

• Interaction with pets or animals in home and construction environments

• Moderate noise levels, confined spaces, and proximity to power lines

• Physical demands: lifting, standing, climbing, working at heights

• Must comply with equipment weight ratings and safety protocols
