Primary Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level maintenance and/or installation work on wind turbines with minimal supervision.
• Follow defined schedules, safety protocols, and instructions—both verbal and written.
• Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians when required.
• Work at heights up to 250 feet and in confined spaces to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Carry tools and equipment while climbing or navigating tight spaces.
• Uphold professionalism, safety, and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Proactively suggest improvements to enhance safety and quality.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of technical wind industry experience,
  OR 6 months of wind industry experience plus a certificate from a wind technician program,
  OR 3 years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite, or heavy machinery work.
• Proficient with intermediate-level power tools such as hydraulic and torque tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings and schematics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with coworkers and customers.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

• Outdoor work including exposure to harsh weather conditions.
• Climbing stairs and ladders with equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Working at significant heights and in confined spaces.
