Job Description & Requirements

At MasTec Advanced Technologies, your technical expertise and customer service skills are in high demand. As aTechnician, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of satellite dishes, receivers, and home automation technology. This role offers competitive pay, performance-based compensation, and incentives. Pay is up to $22 an hour or more, with paid training and a clear path for promotion to roles like Field Technician Supervisor or Site Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain satellite dishes, receivers, and home automation devices at residential and commercial locations.

  • Foster positive customer relationships and provide exceptional service.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Follow safety guidelines while performing tasks indoors and outdoors.

  • Recommend the best solutions and products to meet customer needs.

  • Work independently and multi-task while managing various installations and troubleshooting needs.

Required Experience

  • Ability to climb ladders and meet the manufacturer’s safety requirements.

  • Experience or willingness to learn the latest home technology and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Previous experience in a similar technical role is a plus, but not required.

  • A valid driver’s license is required.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR check (driving record).

Work Environment

  • The work environment may involve both indoor and outdoor tasks, which could be affected by weather conditions.

  • The role may require kneeling, crawling, and bending in potentially uncomfortable positions.

  • The job may be performed in environments that are not heated or air-conditioned.
