Vestas Wind Technology, Inc. is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician II in Patton, PA. We are offering a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus for qualified candidates. In this role, you will perform service, troubleshooting, and component repair work on wind turbines, often working at heights and in confined spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment while contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces while being exposed to various weather conditions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for off-work hours (including weekends).
• Travel for on-the-job training at other sites for the first 6-9 months until the new site in Patton, PA is fully operational.

Required Experience:

• At least 3 years of extensive repair work on other O&M turbine models/platforms.
• Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair experience, including main component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades.
• LOTO 2 certification is required.

Required Education:

• Certification in Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) from the Global Wind Organization (GWO) is preferred.
