Vestas is offering a $2,500 USD / $3,300 CAD sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. This position provides an opportunity to elevate your career in wind energy. Candidates equipped with GWO certifications such as Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) are highly encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled service and maintenance on wind turbines.
• Conduct fault analysis, troubleshooting, and repairs including major component or blade work.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to weather conditions.
• Participate in on-call rotations for off-hours and weekend support.
• Travel for on-the-job training during the initial 6–9 months before site operations begin.

Required Experience

• At least 3 years of extensive repair experience on O&M turbine models/platforms.
• Demonstrated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair skills related to main component replacements (e.g., gearboxes, bearings, generators, transformers, and blades).
• Possession of a LOTO 2 certification.
• Experience working within a team and maintaining a safety-focused mindset.

Required Education

• Valid GWO certifications (BST, BTT, ART) preferred.

Work Environment

• Work is performed at heights, in confined spaces, and under various weather conditions.
• Typical work schedule is 5 days per week, 8–10 hours per day.
• Travel required during site startup for training at other locations.
