Vestas is offering a $2,500 USD / $3,300 CAD sign-on bonus for this full-time position as a Wind Turbine Technician II at the Timber Road Wind Farm in Payne, OH. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform major corrective maintenance on a variety of wind turbine platforms/brands.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces, being exposed to varying weather conditions.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Travel up to 33% per year, with additional travel at the beginning of the position for training at other site locations.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of wind experience or 2-3 years of experience in an applicable field such as mechanical, hydraulic, electrical troubleshooting, or agricultural work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating a safety-focused mindset, positive attitude, and initiative in daily tasks.

Required Education

• Certification in Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) from the Global Wind Organization (GWO).
