Join Comcast as an Entry-Level Broadband Installation Technician with a starting pay of $18.20/hour. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in broadband installation, troubleshooting, and customer service, with increasing responsibility as your training progresses.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform installations and service changes in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.

• Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure positive customer interactions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve service concerns using sound judgment.

• Educate customers about Comcast products and services.

• Use ladders, climbing gear, and bucket trucks to access rooftops and poles as needed.

• Manipulate wiring, connectors, and installation tools.

• Carry equipment up to 70 lbs., work in crawl spaces, attics, and from elevated positions.

• Operate a company vehicle safely in all weather conditions.

• Participate in all required training programs and maintain up-to-date certifications.

• Maintain professional conduct, timely attendance, and availability for variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• 0–2 years of related technical or customer service experience.

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment

• Work includes physical activity in diverse conditions such as rooftops, crawlspaces, construction areas, and public spaces.

• Exposure to moderate noise levels, pets, and outdoor weather.

• Involves standing for long periods, lifting, climbing, and fine motor manipulation.

• Schedule flexibility required, including 10-hour shifts, weekends, and evenings.

Pay

• Base Pay: $18.20/hour

• Quarterly bonuses and commission opportunities may apply depending on performance and role eligibility.
