Primary Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and/or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.
- Follow defined schedules and procedures, including safety protocols and verbal/written instructions.
- Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
- Work in various conditions, including heights (up to 250 feet) and confined spaces.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance safety and work quality.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience, OR six (6) months of technical wind industry experience and a certificate of completion from a wind technician program, OR a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with intermediate-level power tools (e.g., hydraulic, power torque, diagnostic tools).
- Basic computer operation skills and the ability to generate and interpret computer data.
Required Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
Work Environment
- Outdoor work conditions with exposure to various weather elements.
- Physical demands include climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
