Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.
• Follow defined schedules and procedures, including safety protocols and verbal/written instructions.
• Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
• Work in various conditions, including heights (up to 250 feet) and confined spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance safety and work quality.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience, OR six (6) months of technical wind industry experience and a certificate of completion from a wind technician program, OR a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery.
• Familiarity with intermediate-level power tools (e.g., hydraulic, power torque, diagnostic tools).
• Basic computer operation skills and the ability to generate and interpret computer data.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment

• Outdoor work conditions with exposure to various weather elements.
• Physical demands include climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
