Join Alstom as a full-time Production Operator/Welder and play an essential role in our manufacturing process. You'll earn a competitive pay rate of $24.50/hour with opportunities for overtime. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and welding of stainless steel parts (1.5mm to 6mm thickness) using MIG/MAG welding processes in all positions.
• Prepare and regulate welding equipment according to internal standards (voltage, amperage, speed, oscillation, shielding gas flow).
• Inspect finished products to ensure consistent compliance with defined quality levels.
• Conduct pre-welding assembly tasks such as part positioning and tack welding.
• Verify quality, specifications, and measurements throughout the assembly process.
• Provide guidance and technical support to other welding technicians to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Utilize APSYS tools (5S, Autonomous Team, SMED, TPM, Self Inspection, Shop Floor Meetings) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Execute welding tasks aligned with area-specific requirements and individual qualifications.

Required Experience

• Experience with TIG welding is desirable, especially for repair-related tasks.
• Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Previous experience in welding stainless steel is a plus.

Required Education

• Completion of Arc Welding training/course from a technical school.
