Job Description & Requirements

Ferguson is seeking an Appliance Delivery & Installation Associate to deliver, install, and remove appliances in residential and commercial settings. This role offers competitive pay ($19.06 – $28.60 per hour), incentive bonus eligibility, excellent benefits, paid training, and opportunities for career growth. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with possible overtime.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform basic appliance installations and learn custom installations through company-provided training.
  • Safely handle and install gas and electric appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators.
  • Ensure appliances are damage-free, installed according to manufacturer specifications, and fully functioning.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to builders, designers, and on-site customers.
  • Attend training seminars and certifications to stay current on product updates.
  • Fulfill driver responsibilities as part of delivery and installation duties.

Required Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in appliance delivery and installation preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver “white glove service.”
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs frequently and 90+ lbs occasionally with the assistance of equipment.

Required Education

  • Valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Work Environment

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with possible overtime.
  • Use of lifting equipment such as stair climbers, oven lifts, and air sleds required for heavy appliances.
