Job Description & Requirements

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This role offers a starting pay of $21 per hour, with the potential for an increase based on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
  • Process orders via the order management system.
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash-handling procedures.
  • Prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up.
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
  • Ensure merchandise is restocked and placed in the appropriate areas.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Required Experience

  • 0-3 years of customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of products is preferred.
  • General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, are required.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • General math skills for cash accounting.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn is essential!
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Work Environment

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM OR 8 AM - 5 PM.
