Job Description & Requirements
Ferguson is seeking an Appliance Delivery and Installation Associate to deliver, install, and remove a wide variety of appliances in both commercial and residential settings. This role offers competitive compensation, bonus potential, excellent benefits, company-paid training, and opportunities for professional and financial growth. Pay range: $19.06 – $28.60 per hour, plus bonus or incentive plan eligibility. Hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with possible overtime.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform basic appliance installations with the opportunity to learn custom installations through company-provided training.
- Handle and install gas and electric household appliances such as washers, dryers, ranges, and refrigerators.
- Ensure appliances are installed accurately, damage-free, and fully functional according to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide professional and courteous service to builders, designers, and on-site customers.
- Attend company-paid training seminars and certifications to stay current on product updates.
- Fulfill driver-related duties and responsibilities.
Required Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Appliance Delivery & Installation Service preferred.
- Mechanical skills and willingness to learn.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide “white glove service.”
Required Education
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds frequently and 90+ pounds occasionally with lifting equipment assistance.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
Work Environment / Conditions
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with potential overtime.
- Physical demands include frequent lifting of heavy appliances with equipment assistance.
