The Manufacturing Preventative Maintenance Technician position is located in Portland, OR, offering a 2nd Shift from 3:30pm – 12:00am, with the possibility of overtime until 2:00am, Monday through Friday. This role requires flexibility in work hours, including mandatory overtime when business needs dictate. The position involves performing preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication and inspection of equipment to prevent machine breakdowns, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform preventative lubrication and inspection of all Pella Corporation’s machines and equipment within a scheduled time period.
• Identify machine malfunctions and create job orders to prevent machine breakdowns.
• Maintain flexibility in work hours and comply with mandatory overtime as needed.
• Safely work with and around moving equipment.
• Communicate in a concise, polite, and respectful manner with team members.
• Adhere to regular and dependable attendance guidelines.
• Operate equipment/tools that require close control, adjustment, and following production orders.
• Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.
• Meet the physical requirements of the job.
• Learn and perform repetitive job tasks.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance duties.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas.
• Follow Standard Work or other documented processes.

Required Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in preventative maintenance, is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify malfunctions.
• Experience working with machinery and tools that require close control and adjustments.

Required Education

• Additional technical training or certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus.
