Job Description & Requirements

As a Teller, you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to clients, providing excellent service while assisting with account transactions, resolving client servicing issues, and transitioning clients to a banker for deeper financial conversations. This role offers a base hourly rate of $18 to $22.60, depending on location and experience, along with eligibility for short-term incentive compensation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver a strong client experience by being present and proactive with every client interaction.
  • Perform teller functions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with audit and security procedures.
  • Identify and resolve client servicing issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Recognize financial wellness opportunities and transition clients to a Banker.
  • Stay current on product offerings, fees, and policies.
  • Participate in team huddles, debriefs, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Handle cash drawer balancing and maintain adherence to bank policies.

Required Experience

  • Experience in a client service role (required).
  • Experience in cash handling (required).
  • General understanding of PCs with Windows-based applications and calculator use (required).

Required Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience (required).

Work Environment / Working Conditions

  • Prolonged standing (5–8 hours per day).
  • Frequent use of hands for handling objects; face-to-face and phone communication with clients.
  • Occasional bending, lifting up to 30 lbs., and frequent lifting of 1–10 lbs.
  • Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
