Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and/or installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.
  • Follow defined schedules and procedures, including safety protocols and verbal/written instructions.
  • Mentor entry-level technicians when necessary.
  • Work at heights (up to 250 feet) and in confined spaces.
  • Carry tools and equipment, and move parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure professionalism and safety.

Required Experience

  • At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience, OR six (6) months of technical wind industry experience combined with a certificate from a wind technician program, OR a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with intermediate-level power tools, such as hydraulic and diagnostic tools.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Basic computer operation skills and ability to generate and interpret computer data.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
