MasTec Advanced Technologies is currently hiring Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team. The role involves providing high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation to residential and occasionally commercial customers. Technicians will install, repair, splice, and integrate fiber-optic broadband equipment and services. The position offers competitive pay of $22 - $24 per hour, along with paid training, benefits, and a clear promotion path.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used; generate accurate reports.
• Ensure superior customer service and satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in a safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience:

• A valid driver’s license.
• No specific experience required, though familiarity with fiber-optic technology or similar fields is beneficial.
• Motivated to learn and master new technologies.

Required Skills:

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends or evenings.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR (driving record) check.
