The Safety Coordinator position at Pella Corporation is based in Reidsville, NC, with a pay rate of $26.60 per hour. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime only when necessary (employees will be notified in advance). This role involves ensuring safety, environmental, and quality compliance in a manufacturing or office setting, with responsibilities including safety program development, incident investigation, training, and supporting environmental and safety audits.

Primary Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures
• Regular, dependable attendance is required
• Apply and enforce Pella Corporation’s environmental and safety policies in various settings
• Coach engineers and department managers on safety policies
• Manage security processes and coordinate with the security guard vendor
• Support environmental and safety recordkeeping
• Conduct environmental inspections and sampling
• Lead the identification, development, and implementation of safety programs
• Coordinate and deliver environmental, safety, and sustainability training
• Analyze and investigate work-related safety incidents
• Maintain safety documentation and plant safety information, including chemical reviews
• Review and maintain PIV licensing processes and training
• Support internal and external safety audits
• Lead safety teams and participate in safety audits and inspections
• Manage ESS and MES SharePoint sites/information
• Lead the MES plant safety committee

Required Experience

• Manufacturing-related experience preferred
• Training experience preferred

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Working Environment

• Noise level requires hearing protection in designated areas
• Seasonal high temperatures and humidity
