Responsible for the efficient and quality pick-up, relocation, and delivery of office equipment in a safe manner. The position may involve installation and networking of gear during delivery to customers. Drivers are expected to maintain professionalism as it directly impacts future customer purchase decisions. Compliance with all federal DOT requirements is mandatory, along with meeting all Delivery Safety Standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment is safely delivered to the correct location.
• Maintain log books in accordance with DOT regulations (electronic or manual).
• Conduct pre and post trip reviews to ensure vehicle compliance with all DOT and state laws.
• Perform pick-up of products during delivery to minimize costs.
• Execute basic connected installations, including IP address setup and driver downloads.
• Provide basic training on delivered devices to customers.
• Participate in Safety Programs.
• Pre-call customers when applicable.
• Achieve expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload.
• Demonstrate good technical and excellent customer relation skills.
• Identify customer needs and determine appropriate actions; refer calls as necessary.
• Provide feedback on networking and installation initiatives.
• Maintain professional appearance in driver uniform.
• Ensure equipment is loaded and secured in the vehicle.
• Capture electronic customer signatures upon completion of transactions.
• Follow all accident/incident reporting guidelines.
• Conduct inventory reconciliation when required.
• Responsible for managing inventory value of up to $1,000,000.
• Overnight stays may be required.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, stair climber, pallet jack) as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Minimum two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.
• Safe driving record and history.
• On-the-job training with field technicians at customer locations or Transfer Center.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.

Working Conditions:

• Potential for serious injuries if proper lifting and moving procedures are not followed.
• Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling required.
• Physical effort necessary for lifting equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, with movement of equipment that may weigh up to 1000 lbs.
• Work environments vary, including office, warehouse, and van/truck, with adequate lighting and ventilation.
• Frequent exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.
• Ability to work independently.
