Job Description & Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.
  • Follow defined schedules, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Work at heights of up to 250 feet and in confined spaces.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs using hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical skills.
  • Use power tools and diagnostic equipment (e.g., Fluke meter functions and hydraulic pressure gauge).
  • Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
  • Maintain professionalism, safety, and attention to detail while collaborating with team members.

Required Experience

  • At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience, OR
  • Six (6) months of technical wind industry experience with a wind technician program certificate, OR
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery.

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

  • Work may involve climbing stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Requires working at heights and in confined spaces.
