Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Material Handler! The pay rate for this position ranges from $16.73 to $31.06 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform daily distribution yard activities, including receiving, storing, shipping, and building loads.

• Operate a forklift and ensure orders match loads before exiting the yard.

• Engage in customer service activities.

• Maintain knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations.

• Apply basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or two (2) years of equivalent work experience.

• Ability to understand and communicate safety and work-related instructions.

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment

• Warehouse operations environment requiring considerable physical exertion.

• Duties performed in all weather conditions.
