Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This position offers a starting pay of $17 per hour based on experience. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shift within those hours).

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Process orders via order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up
• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull orders
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
• Ensure merchandise is restocked and properly placed
• Maintain a safe working environment including use of PPE
• May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities

Required Experience

• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of products preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required
• General digital literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• General math skills for cash accounting
• Strong decision-making and communication skills
• An ability to learn is a must
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required
