Services and repairs a variety of office equipment at customer locations within a specific geographic area. This role may include Team Lead/Coordinator responsibilities. Requires 1 Industry Certification.

Primary Responsibilities

• Specializes in servicing and repairing complex office products.
• Manages territory, inventory, and customer relationships.
• Provides 2nd level technical support to other technicians.
• Drives revenue through supply leads, contract sales, and equipment assessments.
• Works independently under minimal supervision.
• Performs diagnostics, installations, and retrofits on office products.
• Conducts on-the-job training (OJT) and technical seminars for staff.
• Assumes responsibilities of Field Technology Service Manager as needed.
• Handles difficult customer situations and ensures high customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a "car stock" inventory.

Required Experience

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience, including at least 2 years as a Technology Service Consultant I.
• Valid state driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage per company policy.

Required Education

• Completion of technical school.

Working Conditions

• Works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation.
• Extensive daily travel in a car between customer locations is usually required, including travel by foot in urban areas.
• Regular exposure to minor cuts, burns, chemical solvents, and cleaners.
• Shift work, overtime, and on-call duties may be required.
• Physical effort is needed to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and tool cases weighing 25 to 50 pounds.
