Job Description & Requirements

Ferguson is seeking a Credit Coordinator to join their team. This role offers a pay range of $15.00 – $31.74 per hour and is bonus/incentive plan eligible. The Credit Coordinator will support credit operations, customer account management, and collections while ensuring compliance with established company guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage credit accounts, process customer payments, reconcile balances, and prepare reports on accounts receivable and past-due status.
  • Assist customers with account-related questions and issues.
  • Perform clerical support including copying, distributing mail, maintaining files, and calculations.
  • Approve order ticket releases, lien notices, certified letters, and lien waivers.
  • Process payments for open accounts, resolve NSF checks, and research credit card chargebacks.
  • Approve tax-exempt forms, issue tax credits, and update receivables.
  • Conduct collection activities including follow-up inquiries, negotiating repayment terms, and referring accounts to agencies when necessary.

Required Experience

  • 1–3 years of credit experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple demands and meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong and accurate data entry abilities.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
