Job Description & Requirements
The Delivery & Set-Up Driver is responsible for the efficient pick-up, delivery, and relocation of office equipment, ensuring safe transportation and quality customer service. The role includes basic installation, networking, and training on delivered devices. Compliance with federal DOT requirements and company safety standards is mandatory.
Primary Responsibilities

Deliver equipment safely and accurately, perform simultaneous pick-ups to reduce costs.

Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logbooks.

Perform basic installations: IP setup, print driver download, hard drive removal, and address book transfers.

Provide basic customer training and technical support for delivered devices.

Maintain professional appearance and communicate effectively with customers.

Assist with inventory management, warehouse equipment operation, and training new drivers.

Ensure all paperwork and electronic signatures are properly processed.

Participate in safety programs and report incidents as required.
Required Experience
-
Minimum 2 years of medium-duty truck driving experience.

Completion of a road test and possession of a current medical card.

Online technical training in networking/installation and on-the-job field technician training.

Experience with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, stair climbers) is preferred.

Overnight stays may be required.
Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license; CDL if required by state regulations.

Must be at least 20 years of age and eligible to drive per FMCSR regulations.
Working Conditions

Regular physical effort, including lifting up to 100 lbs and moving up to 1,000 lbs.

Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.

Exposure to varied environments: office, warehouse, vehicle interiors.

Use of chemical solvents and cleaners.

Potential for serious injury without adherence to proper procedures.

Requires independence and ability to follow detailed technical instructions.
