Job Description & Requirements

This position requires advanced technology skills to independently provide strategic analysis and consultative support for the service, maintenance, repair, and development of solutions for various company products and services. The role also includes support for new business and additional functions as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

Technical

  • Perform advanced solutions services, including configuring, installing, troubleshooting, networking, maintaining, and training on a variety of products and services.
  • Serve as a consultant/strategic professional, solving high-end product issues.
  • Lead others in technical problem-solving efforts, instructing and demonstrating leadership in complex situations.
  • Seek opportunities to increase utilization of Ricoh equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Assemble, adjust, and maintain products and equipment according to specifications.

Customer Services

  • Understand and promote Ricoh’s support functions, managing customer needs at various levels.
  • Manage personal schedule effectively, supporting multiple solutions and time management.
  • Maintain productive, professional relationships with customers and Ricoh personnel, contributing to team success.

Manage Workload

  • Execute workload management and call handling procedures, adhering to field call requirements.
  • Provide customer training, equipment observation, and solution presentation to improve processes.

Administrative

  • Maintain a full workload while meeting response times, repair times, quality objectives, and cost control metrics.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, assisting others in their application.
  • Track and record time and activities using the proper systems.
  • Manage a "car stock" and/or customer on-site inventory.

Results

  • Achieve expected productivity levels according to workload and experience.
  • Participate in Ricoh Extra Value program opportunities, billing accordingly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • Requires a valid state driver’s license and minimum auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy for positions with extensive personal car use.
  • Experience in computers, electronics, mechanics, basic networking, connectivity, and printing software is preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license

Required Education

  • High school diploma.

Working Conditions

  • Extensive daily travel by automobile between customer locations, with occasional overnight travel.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds and move objects weighing up to 400 pounds.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling to service equipment.
  • Work in various weather conditions and occasional outdoor environments.
  • May involve shift work, overtime, stand-by, and on-call duties.
  • Occasional stress from deadlines and customer interactions.
