Boise Cascade is seeking a Material Handler for the swing shift (Noon - 8 PM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the construction of doors and windows made to order, ensuring the product and raw material specifications are met. This role involves physical exertion in a warehouse environment and includes opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Primary Responsibilities

• Construct doors and windows made to order and check product/raw material specifications (lengths, angles).
• Set up door machinery and equipment to specifications.
• Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment, and storage areas.
• Load and unload inventory as needed.
• Apply and understand mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
• Manage and provide reports on production, quality, and order fulfillment processes and performance.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• May train, assign, and oversee work of others to ensure work is complete and built to order specifications.
• Work with the location manager and sales team to promote and describe the fabrication process to customers.
• May be responsible for raw materials and finished goods inventory, materials order replenishment, and maintaining product pricing.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• High school diploma, GED, or two (2) years of equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions.

Work Environment

• The work environment is a warehouse operations setting with considerable physical exertion.
• Duties will be performed in all weather conditions.
