Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a Field Representative II, skilled Technology Service Support Representative to join our team. This role involves servicing and repairing a variety of company products and systems at customer locations within a specific geographic area. The position offers a salary range of $21.00-$21.50 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Service and Repair: Perform diagnostics, installation, removal, and retrofits on assigned equipment. Conduct basic connected installations, set up IP addresses, download printer drivers, and provide customer training.
  • Technical Expertise: Troubleshoot and repair equipment components on B&W, color, and multifunctional devices. Complete technical training on new equipment as assigned.
  • Territory Management: Manage territory, inventory, and customer relationships. Achieve expected productivity levels and handle administrative tasks accurately.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers to determine service needs, ensure high levels of satisfaction, and provide technical assistance. Maintain professional relationships with company personnel and customers.

Required Experience

  • Technical Knowledge: Requires journeyman level technical knowledge typically gained through completion of technical school and 2+ years of related experience.
  • Driving Requirements: Valid state driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage per company policy, due to extensive use of personal vehicle.

Required Education

  • Completion of technical school or equivalent experience in a related field.

Work Environment

  • Physical Demands: The role requires working in various environments, including office and customer locations, with potential exposure to minor cuts, burns, and chemical solvents. Extensive daily travel is required, including walking or driving between locations. The position may involve shift work, overtime, and on-call duties.
  • Mental and Physical Requirements: Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The job demands a high level of dexterity and fine-motor skills for handling small electronic and mechanical components.
