Distech Controls, a subsidiary of Acuity Brands, is seeking Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling fixtures and electronic components, installing wiring, and ensuring equipment is tested and ready for use. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on quality, detail, and safety.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and mount electronic components by hand or using small tools.

• Install electric wiring and perform testing or troubleshooting before equipment is put into service.

• Use hand and power tools such as drills, crimps, wire strippers, screws, and rivets.

• Follow instructions, safety rules, and quality guidelines precisely.

• Perform manual tool operations and ensure accurate assembly.

• Collaborate in a team environment with a positive attitude.

• Maintain attention to detail and self-motivation throughout tasks.

Required Experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.

• Experience using hand tools and performing manual assembly tasks.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.

• Good communication skills and basic math proficiency.

• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

• Medium physical workload

• No travel required
